HEYTEA, the fast-growing “New Asian Tea” brand celebrated for its innovative and flavourful beverages, is delighted to announce a historic partnership with the UK’s prestigious Royal Opera House. From 4th September to 22nd September, HEYTEA will open a pop-up store in the Royal Ballet and Opera’s Linbury Foyer, offering an exclusive range of their renowned teas and a special limited edition creation inspired by the Royal Ballet’s upcoming production.

Exclusive Tea Creation

To celebrate the return of ZooNation’s The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to the Royal Ballet stage, HEYTEA has crafted a truly unique tea experience. This limited edition tea features an intriguing three-layer design: a creamy Chocolate Cheese Foam topping, a vibrant Red Blossom Milk Tea centre, and a sweet Brown Sugar Boba base. The innovative blend allows tea enthusiasts to savour each layer separately or mix them together for a combined flavour adventure. This creation represents the first time such a combination has been offered, setting a new benchmark in the world of specialty teas.

Pop-Up Store Highlights

The pop-up store will feature HEYTEA’s best-selling drinks, including the popular Cheese Grape Boom and Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea. Located in the heart of the Royal Opera House, this temporary venue provides an opportunity for theatre-goers and tea aficionados alike to enjoy HEYTEA’s premium offerings without needing a theatre ticket. The pop-up aims to provide an accessible and immersive tea experience, blending HEYTEA’s distinctive flavours with the cultural richness of one of London’s most iconic venues.

HEYTEA’s Expansion

The bubble tea market, which was valued at USD 2.46 billion in 2023, continues to expand, with the UK market showing significant growth. In response to increasing demand, HEYTEA is set to enhance its presence in the UK with the opening of three new stores in Leeds, Southampton, and London before the end of 2024. Additionally, a new large concept store recently opened on New Oxford Street, London, bringing HEYTEA’s total UK locations to twelve by the end of the year. This expansion reflects HEYTEA’s commitment to meeting the rising popularity of bubble tea across the country.

A Legacy of Innovation

Founded by Neo Nie Yunchen in 2012, HEYTEA has grown from a modest 300-square foot shop into a leading global brand in “New Asian Tea,” with over 4,100 stores across 300 cities worldwide. The brand’s innovative approach has garnered international attention, including a recent pop-up store in Paris during the Olympics. Future plans include expanding into Australia, the USA, and South Korea, further solidifying HEYTEA’s position as a trailblazer in the tea industry.

Commitment to Quality

HEYTEA is dedicated to using the finest fresh ingredients, free from artificial flavours, making their drinks a healthier choice compared to many other milk or bubble teas on the market. The brand has also transitioned to using organic milk and offers a 0-calorie sweetener option, catering to health-conscious consumers.
