  • Magnolia Cottage: A cozy two-bedroom retreat accommodating up to 4 guests. This cottage offers a cozy living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker and a dishwasher, and its own garden terrace with a barbecue.

Guests are welcome to explore the estate’s extensive grounds, including a hot tub, lake, and 14 acres of beautiful landscape.

Heathfield Estate is dedicated to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainability. The estate employs several eco-friendly practices, including:

  • Solar Panels: Generating much of the estate’s electricity.
  • Well Water Harvesting: Used for irrigation and topping the lake.
  • Biomass Heating: Providing heat for the cottages.
  • Locally Sourced Products: Guests receive a locally sourced food hamper and toiletries.

Additionally, Guests are also encouraged to discover the beauty of the New Forest on foot, by bike, or on horseback, Bicycle storage is available on-site.

A Rich History

The estate has a fascinating history, with notable past residents including Lady Bingham, wife of Major-General Sir George Ridout Bingham, and Princess Charlotte of Prussia. During the Second World War, the estate housed airmen, one of whom later purchased the property. Today, Heathfield House remains the private abode of the current owners.
