A shared pursuit of excellence and luxury craftsmanship defines this partnership, which was celebrated in a grand unveiling at the Arturo Fuente Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.

In a continued tradition of collaboration, Hublot’s involvement with the Fuente family has spanned more than a decade, resulting in the creation of this exclusive timepiece to mark the iconic cigar’s 25th anniversary.

Carlito Fuente’s commitment to his community is as strong as his dedication to creating exceptional cigars. Over the last thirty years, he has worked tirelessly to build a better future for the people surrounding the Fuente family estate in Chateau de la Fuente. The Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, which Carlito established, provides invaluable educational, healthcare, and artistic resources to the local community. One of the most notable projects is the Art Academy, founded in 2019, which nurtures young talent and helps develop local artists. Hublot has been honoured to participate in this initiative, which gives children the best possible education while also encouraging their creative growth.
As a part of the 25th-anniversary celebration of OpusX, the Art Academy was officially inaugurated, marking another milestone in the long-standing relationship between Hublot and the Fuente family. A Timepiece of Distinction
The Classic Fusion Chronograph Arturo Fuente King Gold stands as a remarkable achievement in watchmaking. This special edition marks a departure from previous designs by featuring the Classic Fusion Chronograph case in a 42mm diameter, a first for the Fuente collaboration. The case and bezel are crafted from Hublot’s signature King Gold, a material known for its striking reddish hue and exceptional durability. The bezel is also uniquely engraved with intricate tobacco leaf motifs, paying homage to the craftsmanship that goes into every OpusX cigar.
The dial of the watch is an emerald green with a sunray-patterned finish that transitions into a darker “fumé” gradient towards the edges, creating depth and contrast. The OpusX 25th Anniversary logo, in gold and green, sits proudly on the constant seconds counter at 3 o’clock. The alligator leather and rubber strap further enhance the watch’s luxurious aesthetic, matching the elegant green tones of the dial.
Beneath the solid 18k King Gold case back, which features a special OpusX 25th Anniversary engraving, beats the HUB1153 automatic chronograph calibre. This high-precision movement offers a power reserve of 48 hours, ensuring the watch remains a timeless companion for its owner.

This limited edition of 50 pieces is a celebration of the union between Hublot and the Fuente family, reflecting a shared passion for luxury, precision, and artistry. Each timepiece comes in a bespoke green lacquered box, designed in collaboration with Manny Iriarte, which doubles as a cigar humidor. This presentation enhances the exclusivity of the timepiece and reinforces the connection between the worlds of luxury watches and fine cigars.
