VitrA Tiles, a subsidiary of the Eczacıbaşı Tiles Group, has won the 2025 Red Dot Design Award for its CementEra series, honoured in the ‘Product Design’ category. The collection stood out for its sleek, adaptable aesthetics and relevance to current architectural design trends. The Red Dot Awards are internationally recognised for spotlighting design excellence.
Concrete design with a modern perspective
CementEra brings a polished interpretation of concrete texture to life with minimalist design and a refined surface feel. Designed to evoke urban environments with subtle sophistication, it comes in four balanced tones: light greige, dark greige, light grey, and dark grey.
Decorative options add depth to the core palette, and the series is available in four sizes: 120×280, 120×120, 60×120, and 60×60 cm. The mix decor tile (120×120 cm) introduces flowing linear patterns, with a glossy visual effect achieved via a special printing technique that enhances the tile’s impact.
Global jury highlights design excellence
Since 1955, the Red Dot Design Award has honoured outstanding product design from around the world. For the 2025 edition, 43 independent design specialists from 21 countries reviewed submissions from over 60 nations. CementEra earned its award for exceptional design quality and versatility.
